In existing public areas (on sidewalks and roads), kerbstone elements can make cycle paths without significant building expenses. Sections with intervals ensure crossing and detachment, too, making the lane edge optically and/or physically remarkable.
When mounted in parking lots, they prevent cars from driving against the wall and assist for easier parking where necessary. Visibility is improved by optional prism foils.
